Secret Senior Valentine Bags offer a loving and thoughtful gift of essential toiletries, warm weather items and a few personalized touches to independent-living seniors within the Greater Richmond Metropolitan Area.

This project began as an off-shoot to the Community Thanksgiving Feast back in 2009. What began as a simple way to distribute remaining items from our Community Thanksgiving Feast has grown into a wonderful stand-alone project.  Each year, independent-living seniors are identified through collaborative efforts of law enforcement, senior communities, senior activity centers and home health organizations. This broad-reaching project has gifted those in Richmond as well as counties such as Chesterfield, Charles City, Henrico, Hanover, Goochland, New Kent, and the Cities of Ashland and Richmond.

Volunteers have enjoyed not only collecting items of need, but in the creation and delivering of the our Surprise Valentine Bags.
